Alright the specs are in my sig. First time the car started with the new motor and tune, it ran pretty good, see sig for idle/rev clip. It's got a pcm for less tune on it that I think is the problem, but now what it does is load up and foul the plugs out, I have to take all 8 out, clean em, re install, and the car will start right up, but sooner or later, the same thing happens, runs rich and dies... Car is still open headers, but everything else is finished on the car, just want to drive it. I noticed that the air filter on my CAI was pretty dirty, but I haven't had the chance to clean the plugs again and try it without that filter..
And for what its worth, the car went through a foot puddle in July with the stock motor, but this is the same maf and filter that got soaked, car hydro locked and snapped a stock rod..

i think possibly having open headers could be a part of the problem, since the oxygen sensors are close to the end of the collectors oxygen could make its way back there on deceleration and the pcm will think its running lean and it will dump the fuel in a foul the plugs
its really no different than having leaking collectors and having it affect the oxygen sensors
i would try and get some exhaust on there, reset the pcm and see where that takes you, not only that but definitely cleaning that filter and the maf couldn't hurt either
do the easy things first

The headers were used when I got them, so there wasn't any residual coating on them, o2's are brand new as well. Thanks for the advice though, I'm not trying to be a smart *** and put down all your suggestions lol. So how do open header car's run then? I've seen a few, this thing wont even make it down the street and back without fouling out.. Could I disconnect the o2's and see if it will run like that? I know it won't go into closed loop but would it atleast run, to where i could drive it to an exhaust shop? If you watch the video in my sig, when I rev it up a bit its been running for probably 3-4 mins, and its shooting 6 inch flames out of the headers lol..

how old are the oxygen sensors and what brand are they?
keep in mind that if its running rich enough to foul plug it really doesn't take long to mess up some good oxygen sensors they dont like being covered in soot

when i had Bosch sensors in my car, (LT's stock cam) i was having the same problem with running rich and fouling out plugs, i changed plugs, wires, coil (opti was new) trying to chase that problem and never did fix it until i finally manned up and got some AcDelco sensors in there it has run perfect ever since

if you want to run open headers i would atleast get and extension and run a turndown or something, anything to lengthen the distance from the exhaust outlet and the oxygen sensors and then get some new oxygen sensors and see where you sit

No one answered if my car would run in open loop fine if I disconnected my o2's
EDIT
I just went to autozone and found some 3 inch id to 3 inch od 12 inch pipes, 7.99 each, would these fit and seal around my slip on collectors and be able to be sealed by a clamp? The end of my headers in kind of tapered and these are more boxy where they change from 3 inch id to od

How well does it run before she stalls out? If your O2s are fairly new and the car ran good before, I would get a scanner and see if the Coolant Temp Sensor is reading correctly. If it reads a minus anything, it dumps fuel and can cause plugs to foul very quickly. The computer thinks the motor needs the extra gas to start and run if the reading is a minus. It's the sensor that screws into the waterpump, the one on the side of the head is for your gauge.
You might already know all that but I figured I'd throw out a different opinion. I had a PCMfor less tune when I had the Hotcam kit and it was very rich. Pulled the plugs to verify it was rich.

I used the same Autozone extentions and some turndowns meanwhile I got the car running. If you disconnect the O2's the car will stay in open loop, that might help you figure the problem(maybe the O2's).
