Default Which throttle body?

I've been wanderin' around the forum, haven't found any recent threads that would help, so I made this one.

On a 97' WS6, Flowmaster cat-back, Pacesetter longtubes, Hypertech, and K&N intake, which TB would you all suggest?

I found both a BBK 51mm and 58mm, as well as Edelbrock's 51mm and 58mm TB's.

Which do you guys think is a better choice?

Thanks.
-Eric

Really? I'm kinda looking for some mods nothing too dramatic, maybe will pick up some time at the track. It's a daily, so nothing too big.

A bigger TB isn't really going to get you any gains. The stock one is supposed to flow well enough for up to 450hp, I believe. If you want to pick up a few tenths, swap out that Flowmaster catback for something a little better flowing. Like an SLP Loudmouth setup, or maybe get some gears. A bigger TB is a waste of a few hundred bucks.

Do some lower controll arms. They will stiff up the back some.

Yeah at this point your tb is perfectly fine. A larger TB is only going to help wih throttle response but will not make it any faster. Take your money for that and put it into a quality suspension setup. That way when you do decide to make more power you can get it to the ground. Spinning ain't winning!

Im also going to tell you to spend the money elsewhere at this time in your modding. I would highly highly recommend that you get some Lower Control Arms which should make a noticible difference in traction and maybe a Torque Arm and some M/T DR's as well. Suspension was one of the best things I did with my car and seems to be often overlooked.
