From what i've heard about the ceramic coated not holding up too well, i'm not giving them an extra 175.00, there is nothing wrong with standard headers these days, they have a thicker flange & thicker gauge tubes, plus mine stays indoors & i won't drive in the rain/rainy days, so i'm not worried about rust, i'm sure these headers will be just as solid in 2yrs from now, i've always run un-coated headers, never had rust issues. If your going all out, just get stainless headers, i can't afford that, for the $$$ i spent on these PSs, they are well built i think.

It'll just make the SES light come on, shouldn't hurt performance at all, now eliminateing the EGR/AIR might cause issues untill you have the PCM re-tuned, i went with the emission headers myself, don't feel the extra gain was worth the hassle, but i could be wrong, anyways, its too late now, the EGR/AIR are staying, just need to fight this stupid ORY pipe, too close to the fuel lines.

Are you refering to me? If so, it didn't take that long (i took my time), taking off the old stuff wasn't too bad, just be careful of the factory manifold bolts, the headers slipped right in (basically), all in all, installing the headers is the esiest part i thought. now i'm jacking with the ORY pipe , plug wires & then i'm about done, i'll be installing some heat blankits on each tube, then heat rap in other areas, if it runs as good as they say it will, its well worth the effort. & i'm new to these cars, all i've been messing with lately are older Mopars, now try installing headers in a BB or SB A Body Duster/Dart , talk about a BITCH & busted knuckles, it makes these F Body header installs a walk in the park i'll garauntee.

The way it was built , don't get me wrong, its close, but it is right against the fuel lines, they could have worked on that area alittle better, i guess i got spoyald with the headers going in so easy.
