Y pipe Question
Y pipe Question I am getting ready to put pacesetter long tube headers on a 94 Z28 with a single cat, which i want to eliminate when i install the headers.My question is where does the pacesetter y pipe made for the long tube headers connect to?The front of the cat or the catback.Does anyone have a picture from the bottom of a set of PS longtubes and y pipe installed on a car.I just dont want to install everything and have the y pipe to short to connect to the catback.Can someone let me know who has installed pacesetter longtubes with a pacesetter y pipe?Thanks
Yup, to the catback. The y pipe comes together behind the tranny, so you will not have to worry about it running too short. I cut the "S" part off (with the cat) and still should have cut further back on the stock catback.
