Default find the MAF sensor in the pic an other thing

i was wondering where my mass airflow sensor was on my 93 Z28 an what the other thing circled

That is you IAT ( intake air temp sensor) You do not have a MAF.

What tells my cars computor when more air is coming threw then.
also i put a black arrow on my intake pointing to piping going down what is that

The thing with the black arrow... I think its something like a silencer or something to do with emissions.. when I got my LT1 it had that blocked off.... and I know that the caprices have the HomePlate on top of the engine to help silence the intake.

well the pic isnt of my car, just another 93 i found on the internet. That black arrow in which is pointing to to that tubing going down is also blocked off on my lt-1

The 93 uses speed density. Basically it computes the air volume from the MAP, IAT and TPS sensors.
