throttle body ?s Can anyone help me out? I'm no car expert but i was wondering, im looking at buying a new better performance TB. I found a holley twin barrel with 58mm bores replacing the stock one with 48mm bores. If i buy this mod would i need to enhance the engine in another area to make up for the increased airflow.
If the motor is stock you will not see a performance gain. You will also need to have the intake ported for the larger holes. The money is better spent else where at this point. Get a Cold air kit, some exhaust, and an air foil. I think summitracing sells a kit that comes with a magnaflow catback, CAI, and an air foil for an affordable price. You will need a 58mm when you put heads on the car. Not anytime before then.
