I may look into having mine re-coated soon, I was working on the car this weekend and noticed how bad they are looking...

not the best pic but you see they are getting bad...

You got that thing gutted there Slow Formula..you guys have been busy doin some work..

I bought the Coated Racing Pace Setter LT's for my LT1 when I had it and had no problems with them at all. I bought the same for my LSX when I swapped over. Both of them came with Copper Header Gaskets as well.

The Hookers have ground clearance issues from what I hear, both pairs of the Pace Setters that I have bought tuck up really well.

The only problem I had with my Pacesetters was one of the tubes were not crimped and I had to grind the flange on the bolt to get it to fit. Other then that have not had a problem been on the car for 2 years no rust but I only drive the car in the summer.

if anyone is curious about hooker ceramic coated headers, heres my .02cents...

i picked them up late in 06. on occassion, not dy decision, i had to drive her in the rain. it is now almost two years later and after looking at the headers during a trans kit install, they were rusted almost completely through at certain areas. i did not expect something like this to happen for headers i paid nearly 700 for but i suppose thats what the salt will to them... i now wish i had gone stainless steel

other than this criticism....these headers are AMAZING.
