MAF code
I just got my car recently and I have the interceptor gauge in my car, its VERY helpfulf with diagnostic trouble codes and such. I do not have a SES light on but stored in my ECM was two codes.
P0100 MAF sensor
P0300 Multipule misfire code.
The misfire was because the former owner had put two plug wires on the opti backwards, I cleared that code and at the same time I cleared the MAF code.
The reason I looked at for codes is because my car drives great cruising around and when im sitting still reving it up to 4500-5000rpm but when Im giving it hell driving under a load, sometimes it starts to have ignition break up I believe! It seem to have stop after I cleared the code, but the break up came back after a couple of times of restarting the car, but no codes are stored.
You think the MAF would cause Ignition break up?
Has new Opti, plugs, and wires...

MAF WILL cause a little bit of hesitation/breakup like that.. mine did that. I have had P0100 for a long time now, but once i actually replaced the MAF, performance is now good, but code still exists.
