Are you still running a stock gastank/fuellines?? what are you running for a pump?
those are crazy numbers! very impressive cant wait to see some track times.
The only thing im going to say about the E85 issue is that its being made out of corn, there has been studies that you can get as much as 3x as much ethonal out of 1 acre of switch grass then you can corn, but yet they still insist on using corn, i think they should just plant switch grass in the ditches around here and keep the farm land for food source.
BUT I think if we're all going to have the alternative fuel conversation again it should be started in seperate thread, to keep this on the subject for the OP dyno #'s

You're car is pretty impressive! Sounds great@WOT
Not to sound like a jerk, but COMPLETELY wrong. I have seen, first hand with a 5 gas analyzer, that E85 produces ZERO Hydrocarbons(well.. because it isn't a hydrocarbon based fuel)
Pro Dyno Tech did a conversion on a late 90's Mercedes C230 and numbers were astonishing. I have a picture somewhere of what the results were. The ONLY thing it produces was carbon dioxide.
I'm converting pretty much everything I own to be able to use E85.

ummm... I'm seroiusly not trying to be an ***, but E85 has 15% gasoline in it, hence E85 means 85% ethanol and 15% gas. Also ethanol is a ethane molecule with a hydroxide on the end, which is technically an impure hydrocarbon.
It does burn more cleanly (only produces CO2, H2O, and heat), and has lower NOx emissions, but it produces more CO2 than fossil fuels (just fyi).
E85 does allow for more favorable timing because of it's resistance to detonation, which helps offset the efficiency difference between E85 and gas, but generally a drop in mpg's can be seen.
All this information can be found on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E85 , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol_fuel, and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethanol_fuel with cited studies.
Sorry to hijack the thread.
Sweet numbers LPE Z! That's the ballpark I'm aiming for when I finish my undergrad and grad school and actually get paid for having a brain

My car is running off 100 % E85. If you want to run E85 you really need to retune your car and adjust your fuel tables for the E85. The nice thing is you can also add more timing as well..

Suprised me as well. This car also with the 30# injectors making 416rwhp put down on a 175 shot 609rwhp and 657rwtq. I didn't want to chance it this time on the nitrous. Point being the cam also loves nitrous.

nice numbers, and I dont wanna come off as an ***, but talk to warren buffet and kofi annan's successor and they will give you a good reason why not to use E85. something isn't renewable when it takes nonrenewable resources to create it and sustain it, while increasing aggregate commodity prices.

Thanks everybody else as well .. I haven't decided to leave the car on E85 or just run 93 octane mix with a little 100 unleaded for the nitrous.

Killer #'s for a stock bottom end..
As for the E85 conversion, you SHOULD replace all the parts in your fuel system that are rubber. The alcohol that is in E85 will dry them out, terrible. I think you could get away with mixing it, no problem.

great numbers chris,
e-85 is the bomb.....
cant wait to see you spray the guts out !
come on dont be a wusssss
for the record my 93 cobra picked up 25hp to the tire on e-85.
same dyno as chris.

yes, it will still run but the driveability is not as good.
remember gas even mixed w/e-85 will be make the car run fat.
i would not recomend it unless you have to,
like to get to the e-85 pump
but mixing all the time is not gonna work.
e-85 requires around 20-25% more fuel and timing is usually alot higher
mine on 93 octane gas 34 degrees
on e-85 46 degrees total
is their a happy medium ?? doubt it !

I think the timing was at 40 degrees @WOT. I think my CR is 10.8 to 1. The car on 93 octane was @67% duty cycle and with the E85 i was at 90% duty cycle. Ron said you add 25-30% more fuel.
