My vote goes towards Magnaflow. 2nd choice would be for Hooker. Loudmouth's sound like absolute **** with LT's and no cats. Some people love it but most do not. Its very raspy and sounds like a farm truck without exhaust. Magnaflow sounds reallll clean with Long Tubes and Hooker is pretty nice as well. Cant tell you how many people I've seen listing their Loudmouths in the for sale section either to trade for or for intentions to go with Magnaflow and the like.

Go To You Tube And See If Sombodys Got A Video. I Personaly Think Both Sound A Bit Raspy With Headers. I Rode In A Ls-1 Ta With Ps Headers And A Magnaflow Exhaust. It Had A Very Smooth Tone And Kept The Rasp To A Bare Min. IF YOU GO TO YOUTUBE THE ENTER 10 SERIES FLOWMASTER AND LOOK FOR A WHITE LS1 TA AND LET ME KNOW WHAT THAT SOUNDS LIKE.

SLP Loudmouth...best flowing of all of them, the LM1 is basically straight pipes. ![Thumb](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/thumb.gif)
3" Stainless from cat to axle.
Interchangeable resonators to accommodate headers make it the perfect catback.
I will admit with LT's the LM1 is loud& raspy but thats because with that setup sporting LM1 resonator, there is absolutely no restriction.
I have the LM1 "muffler" and its basically a big hollow can.
Borla, Magnaflow, Hooker, etc... all make resonator mufflers that would and do sound sicka$$ with LT's.

I get a ton of compliments on my Loudmouth 2 with Pacesetter LT's and ORY. The thing I get the most is it sounds like a full out drag car only with a better tone. Everybody has their own preference so just listen to sound clips and pick for yourself. Other people can't tell you what you like. Remember, it's YOUR car.

I have the LM1 on my SS and I'm glad it's my summer car. It's way to LOUD with the LT's and ORY to be driven every day. It does sound good with the tops out and the windows down. Love the sound while shifting her in the higher RPM's

I had the Loudmouth 1 with an ory and LT's before my true duals, I liked the way it sounded. It was loud pissed off my neighbors and made me happy doing it.
o yea and too each his own, you need to figure out what kind of sound you want, not what other people like.

I have edlebrock mids, stock cats fabricated to fit, and a loudmouth with a dynomax race muffler. It emits a sound that says "don't **** with me" oh by the way I'm also cammed gm847. bwahahahahaha. If i did go with longtubes and offroad y i'm sure i'd be swapping catbacks though

lm1 was an awesome first mod, sounded great. nice and loud but nothing too crazy...it wasnt until i installed the lt's with no cats that i thought i was going to blow out the windows on every car i passed. i will testify that there is an insane amount of drone when you push through the powerband, even just crusing. highway driving can get old fast though.....im dam near stock with the car just have intake and exhaust and i cant tell you how many times people thinnk im bullshitting them when i reply "no cam here"
