LT1-LT4 conversion kit?
Good write up on the LT4 conversion
The reason a 93 TB is listed as different is because the IAC plate and motor are different and the 93 will have provisions for a TV cable. As said the fuel rail/intake manifold are different too. Nothing substantially different, just little annoying details, if you have doubts about other parts just ask.
Far as TB fitment you can buy a 94-7 TB and swap the IAC plate with your existing one or heck I have a spare I would let go cheap with IAC motor and with your M6 no TV cable concerns. I a running a "93" TB on my car, just swapped the IAC baseplate and the TV cable provisions are just unused.

You think an LT4 intake will bolt on to your LT1?

You think an LT4 intake will bolt on to your LT1?
In 1993 it was the 4L60, basically a fancy term for a 700R4, and needed porvisions on the Throttle Body for a Kick-Down Cable.
As far as the IAC Plate under it, I have never seen the difference with a 1993 vs. the later ones in person, but I'm willing to bet that is has something to do with the Kick-Down Cable provisions.
An LT4 Intake will bolt to a LT1, but it will not function correctly as designed.
And as far as your Throttle Body question.. it was mentioned here as a question..
just wondering cuz they have different 93 lt1 throttle bodies seperate from 94-97 throttlebodies and other things, and the LT4 kit says it's only for 94-97 LT1's. I'm new to 4th gens, because I own 5 3rd gens and know every inch of those.

Oh and for your information the LT4 intake WILL NOT bolt on to LT1 heads....

All the TB talk was in response to post #20. I can provide pics of the difference in the 93 and 94+ IAC baseplates.
I have to wonder if you are the one smoking crack, I never said an LT4 intake would bolt to an LT1. But the missinformation in the link you posted does relate to the intake. I stopped reading after that because it looks like the same old moronic BS posted about mediocre parts pretending they are good.

The TB thing has been explained as I was answering questions asked in this thread.
Now your rambling on rockers????? that I wonder where it came from?
I agree shaft rockers are better than stud mount, pretty certain budget is the reason most of us stick with stud mount.
Most of us operate on a budget and IMO doing so is very instructive, caused more than one guy who threw money at a build rather than knowldge to go home making excuses.

You take the douche title at this point with that there bro..
I don't know the specifics about LT4 stuff, but I can tell you that a LS7 Intake won't bolt on to L92/LS3 Heads, and I can show you as well..

And like mentioned above by me, there was a question about a TB and Caprice adressed it..so far a couple of us have mentioned that..lets see if you can pick that up this time.

I will give it to you one more time.
Will an LT4 intake bolt onto LT1 heads?? Click here to find out.
Sorry, but after the 1000th time I get a little tired of typing it.
