Default Wiper arm problem

It seems like a problem with all 93 Camaros - but do you guys know what to do when half of the wiper blade doesn't make contact with the windshield? My friends car is hard as hell to see out of in the rain. I would think of replacing the wiper arms themselves, but I had a 93 Z same problem and replacing the arms didn't do anything. Any suggestions?

You have to buy the special wiper blades for the F-bodies. I forget which company makes them, I think it's rain-x, but they a made especially for our cars. Just ask the guys at autozone. Trust me, it's not the arm, I had the same problem on my 97 until I got these blades, and the best part is, they are really kick ***! w00t.

Hmm, any more info on those? The guys at Autozone don't know squat around here. Is it a beam blade?

Try the new rain x latitude # 5070645 I had hell on my Trans am all the time till I put these on a couple of weeks ago. They conform to the windshield better and don't skip across like others I've tried.

Mine actually misses a part in the middle and on the far drivers side. What causes this?

sometimes when the wiper arm gets to the end of its travel either way, it causes the wiper blade to bow up in the center taking it off the windshield.

just crappy blades in my opinion,I had anco's that didn't touch on the ends or in the middle. I'd try to bend them a little and it helped sometimes but not much. And if the blades are dried out that will cause them to get hard and not conform to the winshield as well.

would they seriously make them especially for our cars? I have a hard time believing that.

I bought the bosch icon blades (like the rain x latitude) but they wouldn't fit on my arm because the lt1's have the hook that hooks up instead of down like all other cars, incluiding the ls1s. So I returned them. I just bought ls1 arms 2 days ago, so I can switch over to these new style blades. I freaking hate the way it wipes right now.

Can't wait to get the ls1 arms.

I have a friend who was looking at my arms the other day, he couldn't figure it out, but he said it might be the springs on the arms are old and worn.
