Need some input/advice on TC's
).What I think I need to start with is a new torque converter and I am considering Fuddle Racing Torque Converters. I am trying to spend the money where it counts the most, a better converter. I have heard Fuddle's quality is really good for the price and I don't want to buy another one untill the cars needs change. The engine runs strong and is pretty much stock, mods in sig, the trans is a problem right now and is going to be swapped out again to hopefully take care of the wierd issues it is having (i think mostly due to the 97 OBDII trans to OBDI). Eventually I want to get a mild cam and a set of heads with 1.6rr rockers to be more streetable. The trans I am installing was originally in a 95Z and I am going to install new shift solenioids. I was thinking that I should be looking into a stall at about 3-3200rpm. Suggestions and advice would be most appreciated!
Anyone else have any input? Is a 3-3200rpm stall too high?

See I thought about a 3600 but a lot of people said that was extreme. How well does it daily drive then? Does it rev more at all or really drive more like stock til you burry your foot into it?

I am kinda leaning on the 3400 stall now, i still don't know for sure if that is too high or too low. Seems nobody deals with fuddle on here so I guess i will be looking to possibly yank or vig. It would be nice if you could actually tell what you are getting before you go out and purchase something this expensive. StealthFormula you have any in-car videos of you TC in action as full throttle and normal street cruising to give us all some kinda idea? I really want to make sure I know full well what I am getting with one of these. Just to see how it performs under all conditions with my own eyes. I always learn something new everytime I get on into the A4 and TC's...
Now my first TC was a TCI 3000 on a stock rebuild, that setup lasted 12k miles. I would NOT put a TC in a stock trans again.
Atleast get the larger 2-4 bands and the blue?? 3-4 clutchpack. Would have to go back and find my build sheet to remember the stuff, but this is my 4th trans and I believe its lasted so long due to them 2 parts.
