Default longtubes, ory, cutout

who all on here has longtubes, ory and keeps the cutout open most of the time? just curious. i know that i like to keep mine open alot. it sounds awesome and very old school muscle car through the spintech but it is just loud as hell and sounds pretty badass with it open. i got someone to drive my car so i could hear the open cutout from outside and let me tell you it sounds totally different(better) than inside driving it. plus whats not fun about scaring the crap out of people

are cutouts really worth it? I read somewhere (at least w/ the gmmg catback) that they only gained about 2 hp on the dyno.

I do think it'd be fun to have it open every once in awhile and have some fun! $150 for an e-cutout though?

its not worth it if you have the loudmouth cause thats basically what it is. its mainly to have the best of both worlds. mild mannered good sounding catback for long trips and wide open uncorked v8 roar! it can pick up few hp if you have a restrictive muffler. but i have a cap cutout no electric for me yet

I have an Electric Cut-out, and it's some fun **** with my Engine..

I have a really high-flow Exhaust setup to where the Cut-out is, and past that it gets really restrictive to quiet it down. I'm almost thinking about gettin a stock LT1 Z28 Muffler and Tips on it to give it that Stock appearance, and crack open the Cut-out to dump on people.

For my setup it adds power, and it's so ****** loud it literally sounds like you are at a Drag Strip. It can be heard for over a Mile with it open.

I change my mind all the time sometimes I keep it stock then sometimes I open it. It all depends on my mood. BTW on my stock car with CAI, opening the cutout gained 10hp and 1tq.
