positive. This is the second motor second pump new pump drive with an aluminum fabbed plate on top. evrything is new. My dad suggested that since its a stock pressure pump that it is building too much pressure then bleeding it off.

My 40k origional mile cam only 95 z28 started doing the same thing under hard acceleration. I tried everything you mentioned with no success also, At the end of my rope, I wondered if that maybe once the car started running somewhat fast (12 flats) it was allowing the 5w 30 to climb the back of the pan and get whipped up by the crank causing the oil to get airated. My fix was to remove the stock pan, pump and windage tray and replace them with a deep sump milodon (7quart?) and summit stock volume/pressure pump with an oil pump baffle. Top of all that I run it low on oil (5 1/2 quarts in it instead of 7 quarts) and no matter what now under wot my oil pressure sits at 60 psi.
