i always said if you get a sports car get a stick. Doesnt apply to women though thats an acceptance. It just seems more appropriate to me

Except even supercars now are "auto" manuals

No clutch to push in, just paddles to flip and the computer does the rest, just like an auto.

I looked for a M6 before I bought mine. Everything was beat up or had well over 1k on it. $5k for mine with 58k miles. The hwy's around here are so busy anymore..kinda glad I ended up with the A4.

This is no knock on autos, but I've never had one that I enjoyed driving as much as a manual. There is a lot more interaction with the car with a manual transmission, and some people really appreciate that type of experience. If most of your driving consists of wide open 1/4 mile runs, then perhaps an auto would be a better choice.
