Hooker muffler sound

Hooker muffler sound I am thinking about getting a rid of my flowmaster muffler and getting a hooker one put on.Does a hooker muffler have a nice idle like the flowmaster does?I dont care what is sounds like a WOT.By switching how much would I gain?If anyone has a good sound clip that would be great.I dont have a cat so I know it will be louder.

That one compares the Magaflow to the Hooker. Listen to both cars first,
before you read which car has which muffler - decide on sound only.

the hooker muffler has a very nice mellow idle to it but above 3k rpms it screams. my personal favorite catback for the lt1. sounds awesome with long tubes and y pipe, no rasp just clean raw rumble.

Another vote for hooker
i absolutely loved the way it sounded before i put headers and ORY and now it sounds even better, it gets lots of compliments, it screams at WOT and you can still have a convo inside the car on the highway it remain pretty quiet at idle

I like how the Flow idles and I know the hooker isnt as loud at idle but its got a nice sounds from what I have heard.I duno if i will get headers yet.Does anyon know what I wil gain by switching to a hooker from a flowmaster?
