From what Ive heard about it, I wouldn't use the CC306 even WITH ported heads. Not because it wouldn't have enough flow, but simply because the 306 is a dated design and there are nrwer cams that can give a better overall powerband and not cause you to have to rev to the moon to get anything out of it. It sounds awesome, and it makes pretty good power WAAAAAAYYYYY up top, but thats about it. If you are talking a serious h/c setup I would go custom cam, but that's just me. Then you get exactly what you want.
