Just make sure you know that they are correct as JC the guy with Delteq is sick right now and customer service is next to impossible. The future of his company is uncertain as of now. That being said I still love the delteq setup and would highly recc it anyday.

hey, what's that zip-tied to the fuel line - a coil to ltcc connector of some sort? looks like an adjustable top(?).......

These are the wires I used as the ceramic plug boots are more resiliant to the high heat of the headers and I also wrapped them in the MSD heat sleeving linked below as well.

I know these are very expensive but I havn't had any problems since after going thru 4 sets of wires and them burning on the headers. Just my 2 cents.

That's actually the vacuum solenoid that is part of the AIR pump system and it usually mounts to the front of the AIR pump shutoff valve in the slotted groves but had to be moved as it was in the way.

aaahhhhhhhhw.k.
your 383's emissions legal? didn't think texans had to be. if the internals of that LT1 are as clean as the externals, I'd love to hear about it.

anyhoo.....the delteq looks spot on here, may seriously do some re-considering before the next swap-ti.

Yup, passes the sniffer test every year. Here in Houston, they are emissions ***** and all counties surrounding and including Harris County (where Houston is) all vehicles have to get the sniffer test every year. Kinda sucks, as it costs around 50-60 every year for a stupid inspection. Oh well, I still put down 450+ at the rear wheels even being emissions legal!!!

That's crazy^^^^^ Must be one perfect running 383. My car runs good but I'll never pass because I have no cat.

Pretty easy to pass for me as I still have the CAT (high flow) and I'm only running the CC305 cam. If I was running the CC306 cam like most guys here then my tune would have to be pretty perfect to get it to pass. Just thought about the long run and keeping it legal here in Texas is a bummer sometimes. Wish they would adopt what they did in IL here in Texas where all cars before 96 don't have to do the sniffer for inspection. But oh well!!

Another point that should be made in most ignition threads is that the grand stories of better idle and response should be taken with a grain of solt because most folks are not bright enough to consider the fact the replaced old worn parts with new ones and were likely messing with it because there were indications of issues. By that logic a set of autolite 104s from Walmart is the best thing I ever did to my wagon because using them to replace the old worn out plugs made a big difference.

I don't argue that multi coil setups are technically better, what I argue is that they are not worthwhile for the overwhelming majority of guys, the opti works great, so keep it as is and spend the money somewhere else.
