Hey Outlaw, ain't you got a hood for that car??

I wanna see what will clear that ducting to the TB.

Nice looking ride, I wanna see some slips.

The car looks nice. I have a few questions for you. Do you plan on putting the cowl plastic back on? What made you decide to go around the dash rather than through it with the cage?
I don't plan on putting the cowl plastic back on because I'm running a 6" VFN sunoco cowl hood and it requires it be removed since the cowl goes all the way to the windshield.... But I already started fabricating flat black panels that will cover the holes left over where the wiper motor used to be and all that jazz.... I will fab them, paint them and rivet them on. it'll look sick... As far as going around the dash it's because I live like 30 minutes from Chris Alston's chassisworks and that's how they have their kits done for 4th gen f-bodies... every kit for every car is custom. None of them are generic and trim to fit.... it fit in my car the first time without removing the dash. I didn't want to hack the dash anyways....

So tell me how do you like the Th-400?? I just switched from t-56 to th400w/ trans brake, and a 4100K stall... Never driven a auto car like this before, SUPER PUMPED!!! Car should be done in like 2 weeks
Well you're asking me at a bad time since my 400 kept me from the shootout... but in general it's awesome.... it eats up the lope of large cams nicely so you don't have all that jumpiness when you have a big cam in a stick car.... and flashing the converter past all the RPM where you aren't making alot of power is AWESOME.... I'd say i like the 400 alot more than i liked the same car with the stick. The stick was nice for mileage and driveability but if you want to go fast the 400 is the only way... unless your last name is Bosnali..... or you're canadien....

thanks again guys. I'm gonna get some track times soon...

Oh and as far as the hood that ducting is probably going to change. It'll look the same but as it comes out from the TB it'll duck down slightly lower so that it will clear the cowl of the hood. I'm not going to trim a hole in my hood to fit it... If you look at the pics you might be able to see my hood in the back of my garage on the right...

I thought for sure this car was Scott's. They're very similar. I ran around with him and the group of LS1 cars (mostly) back in the day. I was hoping to reconnect with those guys. Sorry for the thread hijack
