What the heck is this.
What the heck is this. 94z28. Car has 140k on it. The car has a dead mis on #6 cylinder. Compression checked out fine. The car has good fuel pressure. The car has good spark! Even at cylinder #6. The car has new plug wires, plugs, coil, ignition module.....this is just throwing me way off. I dont know what else to check. Everything seems to be there for the car to fire but it wont. If you unplug the other injectors the car bogs down more..but on #6 it stays the same....and yes, i tried a different injector also...still the same results. Is it possible to have spark in the open air but not to get spark under the pressure of the cylinder???? Please help me figure this out...it my cousins car and if i dont get it fixed he taking mine to prom!!!!!!
If your not getting injector pulse to #6 cylinder you could have a bad PCM. check the #6 injector pulse width using a noid light, could even be a short to ground on the harness for that injector.
I checked the signal pulse and its good. Actually, all of them checked out good.
Ok...will do...i know its not the plugs cuz i put 3 different ones in to make sure. The plug wires are new but i guess if it was up against the manifold it could have ruined it...will check the head also. Thanks for the input.
