The EGR solenoid? Or...?

Just leave the EGR solenoid and cap it off, but leave it plugged in.

You just remove the AIR pump and then that's all, leave the fuse plugged in and that's it.

Ok I got race style headers ok, I removed the egr and put block off plates on the mack of intake on both spots! I left the egr sileniod and left the clip in it and pluuged the intake with a vacumm cap! Then I removed the air pump and all rubber hoses and cut the metal pipe that goes around the bottom of the motor! Ok the is some wires that come from the driver side and has a male plug on it, that plugs into a female plug that goes to a silenoid on the front of the engine by the throttle body, well that male and female plug are plugged in one another and Clipped to the bottom of the air pump and 2 wires are coming off the female plug and going into the air pump (a red wire and black wire)!! I cut both of the wired and removed the air pump and left the plugs plugged together!! So what else do I need to do? Can I remove the silenoid those go to and remove the female end of the plug? .... If that confuses u just tell me what I need to take off to do an aire delete!! Where is that fuse located at? Yall go me confused

I was kinda wondering something like this too. My AIR and egr are tuned out so can I cap off the intake and delete my egr solenoid?

My ECM isn't as "smart" as 94+ PCM is, but I tuned everything out I could find. I removed my air and unplugged my EGR, but as soon as I removed the EGR solenoid, check engine popped right on when started up. So I just unhooked all the vacuum lines and then capped everything off (even the EGR I think heh).

Even if you aren't going to use it, you should never cut anything, just unplug it. Cutting it doesn't "trick" the computer into thinking somethings there. Cutting = unplugging to the computer. Cutting is always a bad idea in case you ever sell it and the new owner needs the air pump for emissions checks.

Unless something has changed, there is no AIR pump solenoid that I saw when I removed mine, so I basically told you all you need to do.

Well I can't just unplug my air pump it has 2 wires coming off the air pump and those wired are goin to a female plug that wires goes to some silenoid on the front of the engine as u can see, well that female plug plugs into a male plug wirth wires going into a big wired loom (I guess to the pcm) but there is a little vacumm silenoid that connects to rhe air pump and has vacumm lines goin to the intake!! Does anyone know what I am talking about at all?

i do, i was told that you need to keep your solenoid plugged in unless you have it tuned out because it will throw an engine code because the sensor wouldnt be plugged in, but thats about all i could make out of it. ill get a better answer later today.
