Default Idle issues need help!!

Hey guys, i just got my PCM bad from mad tuner. I had all of the codes cleared and my mods added (see sig). Before the tune my car would idle high, i figured this was due to the mads i had and not having it tuned I.E. idle was about 1300 rpms. So i had Ion tune it to 800 RPMs... so i get the new PCM into the car and fire it up, it idles perfect at 800...then i tap the gas, and i mean barley tap...and the idle goes right back up to 1300. I've checked for vacum leaks and there are noe to be found...any ideas would be much appreciated...thanks!

its not the tune, it was doing this before the tune, is there a way to clean the IAC or should it just be replaced?

I have heard of people taking them apart and cleaning them, I have not personally done this, You could try closing your throttle blade a little to see if this might help, but without scanning you do not know where your counts are at, I would at least try this, make a mark so you can return to the prior position in case it affects something else...

okay, i kinda did some deductive reasoning last night, i had the car running and i started testing sensors, I unpluged the TPS and it threw a code. I shut the car off, plugged it back in, refired the car. Did the same thing with the fan temp sensor, same result. Then i tested the IAC, unplugged it it threw no code, and the care idled the same...doesnt this mean the sensor is bad...i would think if it was bad the computer would pick that up and throw a code??

Not necessarily, Sometimes such as 02's if there is a little life in them the pcm will not throw a code unless they are completely dead....I know if a TPS is bad and it is an A4 car it will usually screw with the shifting...
