My buddy put a 289 in an 80s Escort, we also put a 468 BBC into a S10 and a Chevette.

Leno does have some cool stuff though.

Long story short: sell the LT1, get a Heads/Cam LS1 and pick any light truck/car you want. A blown LT1 may have similar hp, but its WAY heavier and LARGER than a H/C LS1 would be.

lol ill see...such hatred for the ls1's fasha... if i can sell the car as is for a good price then ill condsider it. I spoke to a guy and he said it sounds like 1500 to 2000 worth of damage.
I was thinking if i was to do it i would maybe do that front conversion to make it looks like the ls1's.

What about a Supra, Soarer, or a SC300? All the same car essentially, Supra is the fast version, Soarer is the 'base' luxury, and SC300 is the high end luxury. I was looking at a SC300 or Soarer before I got my LT1, since it's the same I6 as the Supra, and a turbo conversion I think would've been REALLY easy with people replacing stock parts for higher end on their Supras. Anyways... I think they look nice, and all are RWD.

Never seen this Widebody before, but it's pretty slick (SC300)

You know what, those things a nifty looking! I was thinking about the Supercharged model LOL It looked fun as hell.

Volvos are fun too. Even stock turbo on the SOHC is a blast! They also use a Dana30 which is the same thing as the Jeeps use (at least the older 90s), so posi would be easy to obtain. The 740 are more common, but the 240 is lighter, but not as nice looking IMO.

i loveeee supras etc but they are pretty heavy and i want something that has a kit so that it can make the swap a little bit easier.
