A simple tack weld breaking is what caused this problem...

Hehe, yeah I should have but I'm still a little fired up about last nights findings. You have a pic of the setup with the tab? I'd like to see how you did it.

I think I've got a new set of bearings already.

Kyle, I forget what brand pump I am using but the pickup actually bolts to the body of the pump so there is no way it will fall off..My pickup is rectangular in shape if that helps identify the brand....

I think Moe is talking about the Canton pick-up, it is gold in color. Same as the one I'm running, I have the Moroso blue printed w/ hex-key drive pump, and all I had to do was take out one of the oil pump body bolts and install the pick up tube and re-install the bolt thru the pick-up tube bracket... = stay put.

Sounds like the canton, I have that one too.

P, was that the same pan you send me a link to the other day? The pan comes with a bolt-on pickup tube?
