yeah, but youll need a different stall converter, it also has little different valve body setup but you can still use it.

Use A4 LT1 PCM and harness too.

I don't think the V6 bellhousing is compatible. You'll need the fuel pump, wiring, transmission, and PCM.

Also, weren't all 96s Grand Sports, and all Grand Sports LT4s? Bcause that sure isn't an LT4...

From what I can remember about my friend's 94 Vette, his is on the same side as ours, but the power steering is up on the upper drivers side. But it has been awhile since I've looked at it.

There's also no knock sensor >_>

That came from a F-body.. it's got the F-body Alt. Bracket, and the F-body Oil Fill Tube. That and you would have to cut the Harness out of a Corvette..this one here has all the F-body Connections.

A V6 4L60E will not bolt up to a V8. You will need a V8 one.

Not all 96's were Grand Sports..there were many Coupes. Some of the Collectors Editions were M6 LT4's as well..

why state are you in? I know in Texas that you cant put an older engine in a newer car because of all of the emmission BS....but you can put any engine in an older car and be good to go.

On early 4th gens (LT1s) they do for sure, but I believe at least some if not all of the later 4th gens, v6 included, got the one piece aluminum drive shaft. If it is a 2 piece though then yeah he needs another driveshaft.
