Since this definitely has to be an emissions legal setup I would go with the Lingenfelter LT1 CNC heads, 211/219 cam, Comp Cams HiTech RR's and some sort of emissions legal headers. Either that or get longtubes and do a Y-pipe with hi-flow cats depending on how strict your e-check is.
I had this setup and couldn't of been happier. I was able to put down 350rwhp/350rwtq through the stock Y-pipe with cats and Edelbrock 1 5/8" shorties. Car was a real sleeper since it had a smooth idle. Was able to run a best of 12.5 @ 110 while emissions compliant. I had the setup on the car for almost 70,000 miles without one problem.
If you're deciding on a mild cam you also may need to change up your rear ratio to possibly a 3.42. It's one of those things where you're going to have to dyno to see where your power peak is, maybe run at the track and then decide what would be the best gear to get you right at power peak when you're crossing the traps. That's, of course if you're concerned w/ 1/4mi performance. Driveability was fantastic. The power curve was phenominal. Torque band was as broad as stock, only higher.

I would say that would be a good choice as well.

Ben, no offense but it is like rats from a sinking ship, and they all seem to swim to the same shore .

IMO Advanced Induction is the best LTx heads going, consistent above average results with great reliability and a few cars with results that can be called nothing short of spectacular.

For those who want LE/BB setups, should have lots of bargain used stuff to choose from as that makes 3 guys I know of currently selling their LE/BB setups, in favor of something else.

And thank Christ I went with the right choice since, thanking Christ again, there was no LE or no Bert back then. Either you're real salty bitter or on the sauce tonight, either way I laugh.
Did you miss this part?

Hrm.. appears to me that's faster than most, if not all, LE/Bert special emissions cams that are of a more agressive profile.
Who am I kidding. Dynos are always right! It's all about dynos and what they output, right? If that's the case then why not explain all those 400rwhp LE/BRE v.6.5809w850897346 marvels that are running the same times that I did when my car made 350rwhp?

Does AI or LPE have one of these?

Regardless.... there's the contact info if you wish to use said "shop."

Dwayne, how come you never answer my posts which I direct specifically at you? I don't bite. I can link them if you wish...

Are you from Lake Wobegon where all the children are above average.

No offense, but since YOU brought it up, it's not BB it is BRE. Thanks for bringing up the name. I can't do that because BRE is not a sponsor. Come to think of it, neither is AI. How do you get away with naming them?

Naming has never been a problem. Links are a problem.

So would that be the same BRE listed in the above Better Business Bureau link?? Since the BBB is not trying to sell anything I hope the mods see fit to leave that link alone.

Hey, one complaint and it was resolved. Pretty good percentage. Same as Comp Cams. Thanks for posting. I can't post contact information. Any charge? Guys, he really isn't on the payroll. He just likes to think he is.

Is AI even listed by the BBB? What does that mean?

If Elliott, the OP has made up his mind perhaps the thread has been a success. If we all don't give the mods something to do, we are not holding up our end. I wonder if Views vs. time on the forum carries any weight. This thread is pretty active by those standards.

Who knows?

******* hilarious - now we got gramps in here stirring up unnecessary **** with the kids (and former customer). Don't you have an AARP meeting to go to, or some whisky to inventory? What a spokesperson for TP4myBungholio Racing. Good grief.
