I hardly lost anything going from no stall to the stall and was somewhat surprised. I might have lost maybe 1mpg at the max.

I have a Yank SS3600 in my 402 LSX/L92 setup..I love it. It drives like a stock Car..but when you romp on it, whole different story..

I got it to go 7.05@98.30mph in the 1/8, 9.07@111.58mph in the 1000ft, with a 1.56 60ft on 3.73's.
It puts down the power quick..and it's got a nice little snap to it..

That's what I said,, I'm glad someone agrees. You "will notice" when you hammer it though. Great converter, enjoy it!

Highway cruise rpm should be exactly the same as before unless you made other changes in addition to the stall and trans.

What about on the interstate? Does it run at 3600 rpm or can it still cruise at lower than 3600 RPM???
Thanks

James
Mine is at less that 2k at 70mph. Just like stock, once the converter locks. I'm not sure when mine locks. Only drove it once, i think it's around 48mph i felt something.

What rear end ratio and tire size are you running? What was your cruise rpm at 70 mph before the swap?

I'm still running the stock tune and mine locks up at 42 mph.

Yea, what gear ratio you have. Maybe 2500 is normal for 3.73s. I have 2.73s; that's why my RPMS are so low.

It sounds like the converter might not be locking up. You should be running a few hundred less rpm at 70. Can you feel it lock up? Mine locks up very solid and feels almost like an extra shift.
