The thing about the Borla is that it is adjustable- if it is too loud after you put on the long tubes or if you think it is too raspy, put in a more restrictive plate-

You get the million mile warranty, stainless, and lots of experience in the tuning and manufacturing side. Yes, they are costly, but I think you get what you pay for-

Either one is good, but only one is adjustable-

seriously why does no one ever talk about the SLP loudmouth exhaust. IMO it is the best exhaust out there for the f-body. both ls and lt motors. but i like my cars loud as hell so im biased.

its too ******* loud. it hurts my head. Way too obnoxious for me. Borla and GMMG have that nice throaty sound that doesn't give you a headache

Never been a fan of the lm on LT1 cars, now on LS1's without headers it sounds great.

I've heard a lot of people talk about the Loudmouth. The comments usually begin & end with it being very, very loud.

The Loudmouth sounds good until you add headers and no cats. Then it just gets obnoxiously loud. You really can't go wrong with either Borla or GMMG. I've heard the Borla on an LS1 and it sounds good but the GMMG on my LT1 sounds perfect. Plus, I really don't care for the tips on the Borla.

Funny you ask, just bought a new camera that takes videos. I'll see if I can get some up in the next couple of days. I don't have headers or anything exhaust wise, just the GMMG.

Pretty much any catback will give you the same hp increase, just depends on which one sounds the best to you.

No, all 96's had the dual cat Y-Pipe, only california 95's had it, after that though it's the same. I believe on the 95's and earlier you need a little adapter pipe that i know SLP makes

GMMG is way to Overated. It does not sound like a $1300+ exhaust system. I Personally think-no sound good. There just is no comparison to Borla.

GMMG doesn't say anything about increases because, frankly, they shouldn't have to. Look at all the bad *** cars they make and look at the exhaust they have on all of them.....

If you are paying 1300+ for one, then you are retarded. I got mine brand new from a group purchase for 650 with the Premium Tips. Last I checked Borla's went for 8-900 dollars.
