BTW The reason I was looking for a new setup is the canton sucks and with the stock pan I start to loose oil pressure on a good hook

BTW I did not mean to hijack sorry about that. I like your heads. what headers you using? I have a set of brodix 18* heads i am wanting to use(after they are converted) and they have the same flange.
Looks good man!
Besides not fitting with many headers and leaking? not much as long as you never work on your car

Got them already converted. With all the money going out this year I had to cut a corner somewhere.
Paid $500 for the heads. Not to bad needed two new seats and 4 valves. So I put another $400 in them.
Ran into a problem today with the crank trigger.
It's going to take a day getting it on. oh well. With anyluck the motor will go in the car tommorrow.

The factory 4 bolt blocks have all 4 bolts going straight down. Be having the 2 outer bolts at an angle it is stronger and the caps deflect(or bend) less at high rpms.
Very nice looking set-up. I am very jealous. Just can't fit a project like that into my budget for several years... *sigh*
Not to hijack, but I am from IL (western Chicago suburbs... for a time I lived RIGHT behind Bob Joes's Speedway (Sycamore/Maple Park) the oldest dirt track in the country), but where is Cardova?

I would say it is about thre and half hours from you. You would have to get on I-88 W, then get on I-80 Just before you hit Iowa take hgw 84 N.

Looks good, Now one question is that an original 4 bolt block? or 2bolt drilled?
