BTW The reason I was looking for a new setup is the canton sucks and with the stock pan I start to loose oil pressure on a good hook

BTW I did not mean to hijack sorry about that. I like your heads. what headers you using? I have a set of brodix 18* heads i am wanting to use(after they are converted) and they have the same flange.

Paid $500 for the heads. Not to bad needed two new seats and 4 valves. So I put another $400 in them.
Ran into a problem today with the crank trigger.
It's going to take a day getting it on. oh well. With anyluck the motor will go in the car tommorrow. The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
2 bolt block converted to splayed 4 bolt. The factory 4 bolt blocks have all 4 bolts going straight down. Be having the 2 outer bolts at an angle it is stronger and the caps deflect(or bend) less at high rpms.

I would say it is about thre and half hours from you. You would have to get on I-88 W, then get on I-80 Just before you hit Iowa take hgw 84 N.
