Default Idea on how much this car really makes?

Well I could make this a long story, but I will just make it short. I work with a guy who has this car http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Linge...em120238164188 From being an ex LT-1 guy I know a fair amount about what these motors can do with supporting mods. But can what he claims really be true? He said it has never been on a dyno but it makes 710 rwhp and says it runs 9's but has never been to the track. I'm going to race him just to shut him up at work and I was looking for any input you guys might have.

Thanks

I don't think Lingenfelter would build a car like that without Dynoing it.
Who tries to sell such a thing without washing it??
Uncoated Edelbrock headers????
I don't see that kind of power being possible without intercooling and/or alky injection, I see neither.
A lot of deatails you would expect to see are left out, almost looks to me like some kid bought a car he was told was something wild and does not even know he got screwed and is just repeating what he remebers of what he was told.

That's exactly what I was thinking! He did buy the car from a friend of his, and I'm guessing they must have bought the motor out of some wrecked car. Plus in my mind I think powerdyne's are the walmart of superchargers

who would changed a 9" for a 12 bolt?

unless it was an honest misconception. but still who could mistake them if you own a car you should know about.

powerdyne 'chargers dont have a good rep here.

and +1 on the wash.

710rw on no IC? Sure, if ya have **** for brains.

I doubt that car has any sauce to it, looks like a polished turd. Whats 710hp in boost range? 16#'s? I dont think you could get a powerdyne to make that.

Tony.
