Default what are these?

so i got my heads back from the shop and they gave me the box with my old springs, retainers, keepers, locks, and these 2 pieces what are these. does it have something to do with the coolant passages.

anyone know where i can find and exploded diagram of the heads and cooling system? still trying to figure out what these are.

They are not part of the cooling passages. I have built 5 LT1's and never seen what your picture shows. Why not ask the mechanist what they are? I think they got thrown into your parts box by mistake.

They may be some sort of steel shot that they use to clean/polish parts with. Don't know really, they look odd.

ya i decided those must have been on the bench when they put all the parts in the box. no they are not jets no holes in them. and the guy who did the work on my heads wasn't there the day i picked them up so probably just a mix up.
