I also say ask the shop you got your work done cause I can not think WTF those could be other than a mean joke.

what are these? so i got my heads back from the shop and they gave me the box with my old springs, retainers, keepers, locks, and these 2 pieces what are these. does it have something to do with the coolant passages.

They are not part of the cooling passages. I have built 5 LT1's and never seen what your picture shows. Why not ask the mechanist what they are? I think they got thrown into your parts box by mistake.

I keep telling people this too heh ya i decided those must have been on the bench when they put all the parts in the box. no they are not jets no holes in them. and the guy who did the work on my heads wasn't there the day i picked them up so probably just a mix up.
