Is this ok...and can it be fixed?

Default Is this ok...and can it be fixed?

I'm in the process of putting my opti and water pump on and I look down my car and notice this crap. No idea how or when this happened....but i guess i must have ran over something and it put a dent right before the collector. fyi these headers aren't even 6 months old and look at all the dang rust

There isn't much you can do. I can't tell by the pic, is the metal torn through? If it is, get it welded up and run them. If not, run them.

nah there is no metal torn through its just that the bottom of the primary is bent up into itself

mine look like that too.. no point in replacing them.. you won't notice a difference

they came ceramic coated...I will be speaking to the vendor about doing something about this rust...6 months on coated headers is unacceptable

honestly if I could do it all over again I'd probably trade in some of my suspension for the extra money needed to spend for kooks
