i am a retard and cannot figure out where this goes i checked shbox but stil cant figure it out ..anyones help would be awesome cause i think its causing my misfire...

its on the passenger side , im throwing an incorrect evap code as well p0441 i believe..would this be related to a misfire?

If I remember right that is an evap solenoid.

It sits right next to the Opti harness connector on the passenger side of the intake manifold. IIRC one line goes to the throttle body and one goes to the canister, which I think is in the back near the fuel tank somewhere. If the spot on the throttle body where that line would connect has been left open you have a large vacuum leak, that will surely cause a misfire.

Its the EVAP purge solenoid,, theres suppose to be a red connector to it with two hoses, one to your throttle body and one to your gas vent line i believe...

Someone probably deleted the emissions stuff and just plugged off the solenoid and left it plugged in as to not throw a code.

sticking a bolt in the hole isnt exactly the greatest way to plug a hole lol

When it's something that isn't connected to engine vacuum it doesn't matter.

Who knows heh I'm using a bolt, all I can tell ya. Mines big enough to make a tight fit and I screwed it in to the plat for so it has a decent mating surface. I just didn't know where my vacuum caps where, or even if I had one big enough.
