Default lt1 backfire problem need help!

my car backfires at idle but wen i giv it gas it stops.. any one got any ideas?


i was thinking mab a rocker arm isnt adjusted right?

ya after i put the cam in and adjusted the rockers...mab i didnt adjust 1 or a few right and the exhuast valve is open still while firing at idle?

Default Could the Optispark be bad??

I changed my cap and rotor to a msd , but kept the origonally opti, my car seems to misefire alittle, and under load(about 2500rpm) theres a popping noise from my exhaust. Im currently running longtubes.

Just a long shot, but did you change out your knock module to an LT4 unit, or at least have the stock one desensitized?
