Longtubes or Hurst + LCA relo. brackets?

When you do the longtubes, I would change out those Bosch Platinum +2 plugs for some NGK TR6s if you are still using the N20. TR5's if you aren't.
A good shifter should be the first mod for M6 cars as stated above. Makes a huge difference for fast shifting. Good luck with the car.

I thought an "SLP shifter" was a Hurst though, is that correct?
They are two different brands but they are both short throw shifters, which is what you need. Everybody has an opinion as to which shifter brand is best. Any of the bigger name brand shifters should be at least decent quality. Here is a link to a few different brands that would work.

I hate still having my stock shifter, but I have gotten used to it. For the most part I can shift it pretty quickly. The only exception is the 2-3 shift where I really have to pay attention to what I'm doing. Personally, I would do the LTs first.
If you do want a short shifter, in addition to LT's, I've got an ebay short shifter that I'll sell you for pretty darn cheap. I got it and the SLP short shifter at the same time, and decided to try the SLP first. Then, I decided I didn't want to go through the hassel of swapping it out again. Plus, the ebay short shifter takes a little bit bigger shift **** than the rest.
