Default LT's install, easier from top or bottom?

Pretty straight foreward, but keep in mind I will have the tranny out to replace the clutch as well.

I did mine from the bottom, it was easy. I have a tubular k-member and the car was on a rack. If you have a rack I'd say the bottom. If you'll be laying on your back it would probably be easier from the top. Having the tranny out will help!

2) what length o2 extensions?

3) where can I get o2 sims?

I think my bolts are 1"

My Pacesetters came with the driver side extension wires, I solidered em I didn't need one on the passenger side (I know I can't spell, it's early!)

I got my O2 sims from Summit, but when I had the PCM programmed I think they removed them, I havent tried to take em off to see if it does anything.

Bottom, and re-install the tranny first... You can't install the transmission with headers in the way...

Done it both ways, the good thing about the bottom is being able to install the headers and tranny on the engine first. I bought 1" header bolts and ended up shortening most of them.

For me the botom worked best, I had the motor fully assembled with tranny + k fram and headers and just drop the car onto it using a engine hoist to raise lower the front of the car. I also had my tires ands suspenisn on it so i just rolled it under the car. 4 k member bots and 4 tranny bolts and shes in. If u do it this way u can do it all ur self with no help.

Either/or will work. I've used 3/4" bolts since 2000.
The not sure on the length of the extendors. I think mine are 14", but can't remember. The sponsors on this site may know more about your two other questions.

Bottom was easier for me.

1" bolts

24" extensions

Can tune out the rears or Casper may still have some, not sure what happened with the whole lawsuit thing.

i just finished putting in my hooker super comps and there was no way possible to put the in through the top. Mine went in only through the bottom. The only side i had a problem with was the drivers side because it hit on everything it could have hit.
