went junkyard hopping!!!!! guys i went junkard hopping today and got a great deal on a aluminum driveshaft and a k&n cold air kit today...... 80 bucks for both , i also found ls1 front brakes but didnt ask bout them cause they were missing the pass side caliber but i a thinkin i should go back on tht one as i can buy a new calibr for 90 bucks rebuilt ....
id have to say your lucky i have searched the junk yards in my area for months for parts for a ls1 front end for my car and finally one day i saw the back end of a ls1 that was hit....in the back (every one seems to be hit in the front) and i got sooo exited i started runing twards it and as soon as i came in to plain view i realized the hole front end was gone including ......i was bumed

well i got a couple of more places to go to but i found what i think is a heck of a deal from a guy i know a complete lt1 motor for 500 bucks .... i know the motor and the car it came from it had 90 000 on it i am really debating on it wether or not to get it ... it would kill my junkyard buget ...lol
