I run a Precision Industries Vigilante 3200, have had it for years, no issues, great converter. I have known people who ran all the other Fuddle, Edge, etc and had issues. Never really hear quality issues from the Vigi.

Edge, Yank or Vigilante

The best you will hear anyone knowledgable say about the TCI is they are hit and miss. Edge is only about $525 or so, worth the little extra over a TCI. Yank and Vig are a good bit more because they have billet coveters. Overkill which costs a fair bit to provide.

Not a sponsor so I can't post a link. They sell direct or through tranny builders, not going to find them in a catalogue. Company name is Edge Racing Converters should be easy to find the site.

Like somebody else said...most will tell you to stay away from TCI, however i have the superstreet fighter in mine with no issues yet, and a good friend of mine is running one in his too with plenty of low eleven/high ten second passes on it.

You have to buy the edge converter from edge racing themselves, he will ask you for the engine specs, my converter from them is amazing to say the least, it was worth the $525. You will be happy with everyone that is listed above. I would definitely go between a 3400-3600 converter. Many people think that the drive ability lacks with a "big" converter, but with the new technology it really doesnt affect it that much.

I told you too!!! hahaha

I love my Yank SS3600 and I drive it daily when Im not working on it which is about half the year lol. I too wouldnt mind going with their SS4000 but the 3600 is great all around and I cant complain one bit. After going with the 3600 I would definetly not go any lower even on a bolt-on only car but thats my opinion.

Yank is only place you can buy them from. If you picked a converter up you would understand the cost off shipping plus the extra cost for insurance to cover a $700 converter.

I have a PTC and it works good but it came with the car, for the money I would look at the post above Yank or Vig.
