Default got the YSI in last night!

well i must say im glad to finally get this thing after an almost 3 month back order..... i wasnt mad cause my car aint even ready yet so no big deal there..... its a little bit bigger than my S trim but not too big that it seems like its gonna be much of a task to get it in the same place as the S trim was..... i do like the "for race use only" tag on the blower! makes you understand this blower aint no joke.... i will only be using it to maybe 75% of its capabilties but it will still be a huge difference than my old 545 rwhp 9psi on the lil S trim which i was still impressed with!

i do know some guys told me to talk to a few guys about a bracket for this blower but nobody replied back to me does anyone know anyone else that makes a custom setup for someone going from a S trim to a YSI trim?

also this blower didnt come with a pully, i had a 2.75 but let it go with my S trim and have a 3.33 laying around but figure thats not gonna be enough for this new setup..... anyone know what pully size i should use for a fully forged 4340 383 stroker LT1 with a YSI wanting around 700-750rwhp? i do know that a 2.75 is all that vortech will allow you to use on a blower without voiding the warranty

I believe to make the ys fit on the s trim stuff all's you have to do is make a few trimmings and it'll work if i'm not mistaken....

There's one for sale on the boards as we speak. Too expensive for me, and prolly too large for my setup.

bluebeast, have fun and keep us up on how it runs. I'd be interested to see how the bracket holds up too.
