Default Guys who have done compression check in here

I just done a compression check on my TA because of some hesitation problems. My cylinders varied between 190 and 210 and built up pretty quick.
Does this sound about right to you guys?

Ideally they should be consistent. as long as adjacent cylinders are no more than 10% greater difference between the two you're good to go.

Actually the HAYNES Manual for my car says no more than 30% difference from the highest # obtained, does that sound about right to you?

30% would be a limit imo, but you're within 10% indicated by your range.

I would like to know how you did your test?
did you pull a plug instal the compression hardware, disconnect the coil then spin the motor over a few times?

Or

did you pull all plugs out, disconnect the coil, hold the TB wide open then spin the motor over a few times?

please don't get me wrong,i am not trying to be a know it all or be disrespectful to you or anyone else..just want to help find out how you did the test that gave you the results.......

I pull the two fuses for the injectors so you're not spraying fuel into the cylinder.

If you want to be easier on the starter, pull all the plugs. I just pulled them a couple at a time on my car. I did it with the throttle all the way open. Car can be warm or cold.

When I did a compression test on my car a year ago, all numbers were 200-210

Pulled the plugs, disconnected the coil, held the TB wide open and cranked the car a few times, and also pulled the fuse to the injectors. Why?

I hate Haynes manuals, they are better at leveling a table in my eyes and most of the stuff you need to know is not there. I have always been told 10% not 30%, but I have also been told that a B-body LT-1 full assebbled long block drops right in a 4th gen F-body with no changing any of the accessories and acc. bracket or water pump , what a dumb a$$
