Default new info on my moneypit

Well guys, for months i have been contemplating on snatching my motor and rebuilding, and i finally came to the conclusion that it was that time. A few weeks ago, i took the ol T.A out for a spin, and after a 150 shot that felt about like a stock T.A, and a clutch disk burning, i figured the motor was worn out and some stuff needed replacing. I snatched it all out last week and i figured out where my major power losses were... for one, i knew i had an exhaust leak, but i didnt realize my number 5 spark plug had started to back out. Then, i took a good look at the egr valve, and realized it had worked loose also. Sure am glad i went ahead and snatched it all out ill post pics when i get everything back from the machine shop and keep you guys posted. Basically its a stock LT1 bottom end with a better set of rings, ported castings and cam. and i figured why not go ahead and throw a new clutch and rear while im at it... the stock bottom end held a 200hp hit like a dream for the past year (within moderation) so i figure i might as well go back to the same setup with H/C. and for the record... no i dont know about the tune, a buddy did it all for me.
