Default Stock ride height? *Pic. and question*

Whats stock ride height on the 97' Camaro z28? Im gathering all the parts for my P.S LT header install and im just sort of curious as how much clearance im going to lose. Ive been threw the multiple threads on this subject, but there isnt a whole lot of info. It seems quite vague.

I was told that the car has aftermarket suspension and was lowered. It does have different suspension, but it really doesnt look all that low to me. Granted ive never seen another camaro that was at stock height close up so i really have no idea.

Basically what i was wanting to know is whats the measurement from ground to the fender well on the front and back at stock height? And from the guys with lowered cars and PS LTs, do you think im going to have much of a problem at the height the car is at now? Thanks in advance.

For the record, that juice container in the pic is 7 1/2 inches tall and the tires/wheels are 275/40/17's.

Thanks!
Byron

P.S The road is not flat as seen. It bows in the middle a far bit.

This is a really good reference. I needed to know, too.

My z28 has the front lowered only and I think there is 2-3 inches clearance from the collector to the floor, last time I checked. I avoid speed bumbs, but the bigger bumps, (not short to drive across), I can get over by getting a little angle to it. Exhaust is somewhat scratched from unknown dips, but it's tends to be fine for my everyday driving.

Btw, the front wheel well lip just about covers the top of my tire.

I found out my car is lowered 1inch in the back and 1 1/2 in in the front. I imagine i should have plenty of room for my pacesetter lt install

I'm lowered 2" with longtubes and it sucks. I can't drive over railroad track, speed bumps, or pull into a lot of driveways.

X2. I had Eibach Sportlines on my car. After my longtubes went in, I could barely go in to any driveways, go over RR tracks, anything. I just bought some used 96 WS6 springs for $40 and threw some new shocks on it. I feel like a 4x4 right now, but I can actually go places and park in my garage! It will have a Strano 1.2" lowering spring kit this year tho

I measured mine the other day. I don't know if it has original suspension or not. It sits 27" in the front, and 28 1/2" in the back.

Spring rates. They're FAR too soft for performance.

as he said spring rate, h&r seems to have a really nice progressive spring rate, and it doesnt make the car have a rake look
