Default Chrome Alternator

I have been looking for a good deal on a chrome alternator for my 95 Z28. Anyone know where to look for one? Powermaster and Tuff Stuff makes one for my Z but they are very expensive.

Polish the one you got real good (on a buffing wheel) and save your money. Do a search as a guy on here or cz28 had real issues with chrome alternators overheating and failing. I think he went thru 2 or 3 before he went back. The chrome hold the heat and causes the electonics to fry. If it's a DD car or driven a fair amount don't do it. Just my 2 cents.
