Default HEI on LT1?

Will HEI distrebutor will fit on a carb'd LT1? If the carb was mechanical can you use the stock electric distrebutor from 92 TPI on LT1?

If you get a intake manifold that has provisions for a HEI distributor, than yes you can use it on a LT1. Don't know about the one for a 92 TPI though.

I think if you do a search in the conversion section you'll find more answers. I know you have to reduce your fuel pressure some how. I don't know if you can use that distributor or not.

I'm not familiar with distributors, sorry. Don't want to sound like a dick by repeating, but the conversion section will be more helpful for you.

You wont be able to use the electronic TPI dist. You could probably use an old school mechanical advance msd distributor.
