weird problem? any help?

Default weird problem? any help?

my can everyonce in a while when at a low rpm, it'll sound like one cylinder cuts out? or its not getting enought fuel or somehting. but when i gun it up to like 5000rpm it kicks back in. and when its running bad it makes a tick sound from the exhaust? anyone know? i was thinkoing maybe a fuel filter? or a air filter? anyone? no cats on the car.

Strong Island,
Your probably going to need a little more info to get some help, fairly vague. I suggest you start with the obvious, pull the plug on that cylinder (inspect), check plug wire (contact, shape & condition), plug wire connection at the opti, do you have a scan tool or a guage like the aeroforce interceptor ? If so, it will read any misfires in cylinders or codes from the PCM.

its not any known cylendere its just what it sounds like. im clueless as the the source of this problem. im gunna have to scan it... can a fuel filter or an aiorfilter make somehting like this happen?
