LT1 in a fox stang?
LT1 offers the best bang for the buck not to mention the 6-speed fits it. I can build a 600hp lt1 for about 2000k less than a 302w.
I'm not asking what engine to use, this I know, I'm asking if it has been done.

This is merely an LT1 section of the board. It'd be cool to have a fast Ford and a fast GM. If it was mine, I don't think I'd drop a GM motor in it. It's your choice though, Glue. Good luck with whatever you choose!
I think I will do the lt1. I found a k member for the swap and a buddy of mine can do the wiring. Big probs would be steering rack and tranny cross member. I have to check but I think D&D perf sells a fox t56 crossmember.
sure it can be done. Good Luck with the project
but a 408 windsor would run low 10's on motor and
cost less. BTW, I have not had any problems with
my stock 302 block, it does have a girdle though.
