low fuel pressure, cant figure out why

Default low fuel pressure, cant figure out why

iv got a cam, and 30# injectors, new acdelco regulator, acdelco filter, less than one year old delphi fuel pump. at idle im only getting 35 psi. when i rev slowly to 2k, it drops to 30 psi. if i unplug the regulator it idles at 45 psi. any thoughts?

Have you tried seeing if the pressure drops off the reg. if you rev it up, it could be a few problems, i would make sure the injectors are working fine, check your voltage too the pump, make sure you have good ground, MAKE SURE your feed line on the pump is not coming loose, this happened to me (i used an EFI hose & it swelled), but my pressure was not effected when i disconnected the reg., its very possible its just the pump, just remember your return pressure will effect the feed pressure, i would replace the fuel filter 1st. & see what it does, its the easiest & cheapest.
