Default mysterious leak

i got a 94 lt1 and i got a slow oil leak comming from somewhere above the tranny, cant figure out where its comming from but the oil is gathering on the lower tranny bolts and drippin from there i honestly dont have a clue where to look ive checked all the bolts but they are all good. any suggestions??

If it's engine oil, check the back of the intake where it meets with the block(infamous LT1 intake leak). Otherwise, check both valvecovers.

x2. since there is no actual gasket on the front or back of the intake, silicone is used and over time the heat from the EGR tube dries it out and it starts to leak. to fix it you have to pull the intake manifold off and re-apply some new silicone. RTV copper gasket works good. you can get it at autozone

LOL Same leak i got. Its back of intake.

you have to pull off the intake manifold. you dont have to take off the valve covers. we did just because we replaced the gaskets
