No spark and no fuel on first startup... wtf
Finally got my car back together. New DART PRO 1 heads, new harness (used but way better condition - almost perfect condition) than my old one, and some other goodies. Anyways, it was all going smoothe in the end, then i go to turn the car on, and fuel pump doesn't prime (made sure by pushing down schrader valve and no fuel came out), and car would not turn over. I don't even hear the starter engaging or anything, also gauge cluster was not responding (oil pressure was at zero, temp. at like 260 lol)..So my friend hardwired the starter to a ground and tried starting the car, and all it did was keep turning over, but never fired up. There is no spark or fuel going to the motor and I do not know why. He suggested maybe a bad ground or something, but a few times everything just shut off completely. Interior lights, etc. Then after like 5 min they came back on. I wish I knew what was going on! Any ideas would help. Gonna fiddle with it tomorrow.

sounds like an electrical problem. If nothing else in your car is getting power, wiring the starter to ground will not do anything. The computer, fuel pump etc need power too to start the engine.
Since you replaced the harness, a bad ground or connection somewhere is definitely what I would look at first.

I went over everything today and grounds are fine. There are only two for the engine anyways - the block ground (to pcm) and the ground strap by the coil. For some reason there is no power getting to the PCM.. I am so confused!
I believe something may be shorting out (but I checked all fuses/relays and they are all fine).. it makes a weird small electrical *spark* noise (coming from the fuse box in the engine bay) when I turn the key over, but to no avail.

Well, I think my dear friends figured it out.. My old setup had this green wire running from the driver side firewall, going (spliced) into a wire on the opti harness. Previous owner claims it's a VATS wire. I left that unplugged when I just did my new heads (because i bought a new opti harness that wasnt cut), overlooking it. No security light turns on, but thats probably because the wire is not connected to anything, but would this justify why I have no reaction (fuel and spark-wise)? I really hope this is the problem all along.. so either i connect this wire or disable VATS all together
